So this is pretty cool. A tribe of women in the Ukraine have been found living isolated in the mountains. The women in the region are well known for being abducted and sold into slavery. These women have worked around a tremulous government that has failed to provide or protect their citizens. This is highly commendable and truly admirable.

In our country we have an endless supply of people who are maybe not living in the most ideal of conditions but can have anything given to them, never have to give back, and are the first to complain about how everyone is keeping them down. And the “They” is always the excuse not to have to accept any accountability.

These women are not trying to start a revolution, overthrow their government, or wage a civil war. They are taking what they have to work with and make the most out of it. They are self-sufficient and sustain themselves with no help from anyone else. They made their own society.

Now imagine if groups in our country decided to take some accountability and the resources that they have and make the most of what they have. I really don’t think anyone says that being in a Street Gang is a good thing to do. Its just one of few options that are there. Why, because that’s the impression they are given. They could do so much more.

The flip side to that is Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the NAACP who do to a point push that message but still put the blame on the “They”.

Or even worse would be the militant movement such as the Black Panthers who preached admirable qualities such as protecting yourself and empowerment but also supported violence and terrorism as and justifiable ends to their means.

What’s wrong with organizing your people, promoting responsibility, using what you have or have been given to succeed, and working within the system to provide for yourself, your family, and your community. All while refraining from using blame, threats, and violence.

The one true travesty of this could come in a Orwellian form such as in “Animal Farm“. As their home land of the Ukraine continues to deteriorate and the more they flourish, then the more the outside world will come to them. They could come in the form of a threat or in the form of bartering for resources.


This opens the door for corruption to enter there ranks and or outside influence breaking down their way culture. Worst case could be an overwhelming force of people storming them that they can’t stop.

If the country rebounds then they have to learn to adapt to the country. Hopefully this will be the case and hopefully they can contribute to the country and their fellow Ukrainians and the world can learn from their achievements.
